Due to a change in the Illinois Real Estate License Act of 2000, the expiration date for active real estate salesperson licenses has been extended one year to April 30, 2012. Although current licenses and pockert cards show an expiration date of 4/30/2011, they are acceptable and can be used until the extended expiration date.
A copy of the official notice can be found at the link below. Agents are encouraged to print the notice and carry it with their pocket cards.
